Our daughter attended this Montessori school, and it was amazing! I felt like the staff were like family, and my daughter flourished there! They really prepared her for everything. She learned so much about personal responsibility, respect to others, compassion, and also all the academic studies for her age. She actually was tested at her new school after we left, and she was placed in advanced education classes. She loved it so much that we still visit them, after 8 years have passed.
This is such a great program! Our (almost) 3 year old daughter & 1.5 year old son have been attending for about 6 months and they both love it! The last program we had our daughter in she would mostly keep to herself and was rarely interacting with others when we would arrive to pick her up. At this Montessori school, she is always engaged in an activity, playing with other children or working intently with a teacher when we arrive. Our son, who recently moved to the toddler room is growing leaps and bounds – his vocabulary is already starting to grow and he uses utensils at meal time with ease. All the teachers, aides, director and assistant director have a genuine investment in the children and are always so excited to see them. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in the Montessori method, or even just looking for a great childcare/school program!
This is a wonderful school! I have been a part of this community since 2009, when my son started at just 3 months old and stayed through pre-K. By the time he left he knew how to read and knew his numbers up to 100. He had absolutely no problems transitioning to Kindergarten at a public school, which was a breeze for him. About a year later, I visited the school as I was expecting my second child. I saw that the majority of the staff was still here even after 5 years! I fully trust the teachers and staff, so I did not hesitate to enroll my daughter. She started when she was 10 weeks old and is currently 2 and in the Toddler room. My daughter is very happy here and loves all of her teachers. She speaks quite a bit and her pronunciation is very clear. She is able to feed herself using utensils and drink from a cup with minimal mess. She has been developing very well here! The teachers and staff are all so very sweet and kind. You can tell that they genuinely love what they do and care immensely for the kids. This is a great learning environment for kids and teaches them how to be independent even from a very early age.
What attracted me to this school initially and still does three years later is their consideration in a child’s diet. This school serves healthy meals that are low in sugar and indeed gives your child exposure to new foods they may not always have at home. The second thing that appealed to me is that this school is small–quaint in size. This means the teachers are highly aware of your child throughout the day. I feel like, for any new mom who is nervous about taking their little one to childcare, Greystone provides an assurance and family-like setting that provides you the confidence to know they are in good hands.
My child started in this Montessori when she was 18 months and continuing in kindergarten. We are very delighted to see her learn and grow each year starting from alphabets to writing comprehensive stories.
Best part is the healthy sugar free and fat free diet they cook fresh and serve kids every day. I would give a five-star rating and recommend Greystone to anyone who are looking for a good Montessori learning for their kids.
My family has attended this Montessori for the past 6yrs and see the staff as family. When I go to work, I can take comfort that my children are being loved and cared for, and in turn, my children adore their teachers! Greystone is an excellent school as well, when my oldest attended Kindergarten she was very well prepared! My youngest two children are also learning so much! I highly recommend Arka if you seek a Montessori school with a family atmosphere!
This is the best school for young minds. My Son is going to this school for 6 months, and we could clearly see the difference in him. He had learned to do many things on his own. He is now 2 and half years old, and is interacting a lot more with us. We are very happy with the teaching staff who give personal attention to all the kids. One of the most inspiring aspects of Montessori teaching is that freedom and discipline go hand in hand. The kids over there are given freedom to try everything, and yet they are very disciplined. This gives them a chance to develop their own perception of life. Kids of all age groups work together and this gives them a chance of mutual development. They keep the kids busy all the time. You can happily send your kids with peace of mind as they are in the best hands. I strongly recommend this school to all the parents.
